I have an awesome and easy Young Living DIY spray to share with you!
It is a leave in conditioner and detangle spray!
•Anytime I wash my hair, it instantly gets back to its natural curly/wavy(ness) and basically can be a huge pain in the butt to brush. I found this super easy to make recipe and not only is my hair easier to brush, but its SO SOFT!
♥Lavender oil helps to condition the hair
♥Cedarwood helps with hair growth ( I cut 5 inches off my hair back in June and it already grew back 2 inches )
♥Tea Tree oil helps with dry scalp & keeps it moisturized
♥Peppermint oil helps cleanse the hair!
♥The only thing you need besides the oils is 1 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil and I add 1 tablespoon Jojoba Oil because its great for your hair!
Then just top it off with water and boom!
»Another optional thing you can add that I like to add to my spray is Apple Cider Vinegar. Now I’m sure you’re like “eeeeeeewww” like I was when I heard of that & “why would I want my hair to smell like vinegar?”
- Well 1st, it won’t smell like vinegar and 2nd Apple Cider Vinegar is actually a great conditioning wash!
- Naturally our hair release oil (sebum) that has a pH level of 4.5-5.5 When you wash your hair with regular shampoos or other hair products it disrupts your hairs natural pH level which can affect the cuticles in your hair and the condition of your scalp.
- Apple Cider Vinegar is naturally high in acetic acid and has a pH level close to that of human hair sooooooo it gets rid of all those extra gunky minerals and rescue left by your shampoo, conditioner or here in SA the hard water!
All I used is what I listed above in the graphic! It was so easy to make and it smells amazing too! 🙂
I obviously choose Young Living for my essential oils and just use other brands for the Jojoba and Vitamin E oil. If you have any questions regarding the Young Living oils please feel free to contact me!
